Ryan has always thrown himself into everything he does, from taking on a paper round at age 11 to co-founding his first financial planning firm after only four years working in the industry. His strong work ethic – learnt from the steely determination of a single-mum – led him to creating a business in Tribeca that not only changed people’s lives for the better, but disrupted how financial advice was being delivered. This single-minded focus to put people first continues to inspire our Tribe to live their Good Life and in turn empower thousands of individuals and families to do the same.

Ryan believes financial wellbeing is a state of being where a person can fully meet their current and ongoing financial obligations, can feel secure in their financial future, and is able to make choices that allow enjoyment of life.

Since 2010, Ryan has championed financial wellbeing, working closely with individuals and organisations to create holistic roadmaps which create a strong sense of security and freedom. Ryan and his team of facilitators present about managing your level of financial wellbeing during both good and challenging times and then looking at tools you can use to integrate it into your life in an effective and meaningful way.

Financial Wellbeing

An introduction to Financial Wellbeing (45 mins)

We explore what Financial Wellbeing is, how we measure it, how to improve it & what are some of the major impacts of poor financial wellbeing when it comes to our work, life & our physical/mental health. We also explore the Financial Wellbeing Matrix which is an interactive activity exploring ones Sense of Financial Security (Managing the day to day, control of their finances) & Freedom of choice (How they use their money on the wants & fun things in life!)

Following this is a high-level look at goal setting, exploring how to set SMART goals, using our 10-3 Now framework & the 5 L’s (Live, Love ,Laugh ,Learn & Legacy) to help map this out.

Finally, we believe that ‘structure creates freedom’ & to close the session, we focus on creating a winning cash flow structure, using technology to help keep track of your spending & financial position (We have an App called Tribeca Tracker that can help with this!)

Goal Setting & the principles for planning “My Good Life”

We also deep dive into Money scripts & how the behaviours around us when we are children set the scene for how well or not so well we may manage money throughout our lives.
